Courtney and Mitch’s Key Largo Lighthouse Beach Wedding was the dreamiest! The forecast was a little foreboding in the beginning of the day, but as luck would have it not a drop of rain came until the end of the night. I always love photographing weddings here at Key Largo Lighthouse Beach, but my all time favorite part about this day was Courtneys Mom’s surprise – which was flamingos and a cockatoo for the cocktail party and reception! Nope, not lawn flamingos, or figurine flamingos, like real live flamingos and equally cool cockatoo. Such a fun element! I love the bridesmaids dusty blue dresses and how fun this whole wedding party was, such a fun day :)
My planning/bride and groom takeaway: think outside the box with cool details and elements that add to the experience for your guests and wedding party…i.e. flamingos! Don’t write anything off as ‘ too crazy ‘ or too much until you do the homework, because hey, you never know!
