2020...WHAT A RIDE, AM I RIGHT?

If you had told me this time last year that half of my weddings for 2020 would be rescheduling, masks would be the new normal, concerts and mass gatherings would be on hold and hugs would be frowned upon I'd probably would've laughed in your face and then gone off and had a secret anxiety ridden cry sesh but hey HERE WE ARE! And I'm here to *try* to make the best of it.

2021:

THE YEAR LOVE WAS
NOT CANCELLED

I'd be lying if I said this was easy. It's not, it's super hard both as a vendor and as a friend to so many of my clients. My heart breaks for my couples having to make tough decisions and postponing days they've been looking forward to for so long, and sometimes I still can’t believe this is the reality we’re living but if I try to have the half glass full outlook, micro-weddings and mini-monies are two of the things that I LOVE which have been born from Covid! And although big weddings may not be pandemic proof, love sure is.

MINIMONIES

sometimes scheduled for the original wedding date, mini-monies are usually very small, immediate family only ceremonies with family photos, minimal getting ready photos and couples photos. Perfect for couples who just wanna do the damn thang, with plans for the big wedding to follow once things are back to normal.

MICROWEDDINGS

ELOPEMENT

These celebrations have most of the components of a 'normal' big day, scaled down with a much smaller guest list. All the perks of a big wedding, with less people and social distancing.
